A trip I went on

My friends💙

I am a Dhamma school teacher. Our Dhamma School children planned this annual trip to visit the Galle area.

                            So, we agreed to their decision after discussing it with the headmaster.

 There we decided to visit the following places:

                              Kalutara Bodhi Tree.

                              Kande Viharaya .

                              Turtle Conservation Center.

                              Madu River.

                              Thai Temples.

                              Galle Fort.

     We left the temple at 3 am on January 25th. Due to the large number of people, we had to use two buses for the trip 😎. 

After visiting the Kalutara Bodhi Tree and Kande Viharaya, we went to see the turtles.

      I really liked that place. It's not just me. It's our little ones too. There were a lot of baby  turtles there. Some children picked them up.

Then comes the best part of the trip. That's  the boat ride on the Madu River.😇💕It was an amazing experience. During that time, we visited Cinnamon Island and Kothduwa Temple. At Cinnamon Island, we had the opportunity to drink cinnamon tea and watch how cinnamon oil is extracted.

We were also able to learn more about the Madu River at the Kothduwa Temple.

         After lunch,we went straight to Jungle Beach. We bathed at Jungle Beach with everyone and then went to worship at the Thai temple🙏 

        After leaving to go home, everyone danced to the DJ outside the bus. 😇😍

    So that was my unforgettable trip in 2026💖
