GEM CITY 💎

RATNAPURA 

          Ratnapura is a beautiful city in Sri Lanka, well known as the ''city of Gems''. It is the capital of the Sabaragamuwa Province and is famous for its rich deposits of precious stones such as sapphires, rubies, & cat's eye. Many people visit Ratnapura to see gem mines & learn about the traditional gem industry. 

                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Ratnapura is surrounded  by lush green forests rivers & mountains. The famous Sri pada (Adam's peak) is located near the city & attracts thousands of pilgrims & tourists every year. The Kalu Ganga River also flows through Ratnapura adding natural beauty to the area.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                      The city is in culture & traditions. Religious places such as  Sabaragamu Maha Saman Dewalaya are important to the local community. Festivals & cultural events are celebrated with great devotion.



         



                   In conclusion, Ratnapura is a city of natural beauty, cultural value & economic importance. It is one of the most special  & attractive city in Sri Lanka.
